too late to mend

My dear Mr. Prime minister, leaders of Bn component parties and the opposition leaders together with other leaders of Pakatan; All of you must be responsible and decisive to solve the impasse created by a crisis of electoral disagreement tainted by allegedly flawed procedure for years which enabled non citizen to vote in previous elections. In other worsds transfer-ency must be done and shown to be done. Why can't the current leaders jointly meet and sit down on a round table with in these seven important days to make final, conclusive and mutually acceptable political decision jointly face to face instead of passing the bucks to the executive(police & army) to take this political responsibility. This is a political problem and must be settled in a political manner.Passing the bucks to the executive is a sign of cowardice and an irresponsible. Act bravely as responsible and true leaders. The continued insistent by the opposition to support the bersih call for demonstration is equally an irresponsible act. Decency requires respect for the country's law. You are the law makers and should show appropriate examples to the public.Walk the talk as all of you often call. Flouting the law should not be condoned and must be stopped forth with.Valid reasons for Arguments and counter arguments have published and uttered separately and made from many different flat forms to convince respective supporters until yesterday the government supporters in Penang were allowed an illegal assembly headed by a political frog from the opposition.Fortunately the scruples were very minor because of the numbers in the illegal assembly.A precedent has undeniably been created. Therefore to deny the request of BERSIH is a double standard practice which may infuriate the parties concerned. At this juncture "stopping and/or allowing" the proposed meeting from taking place on 9th instant is a fore gone conclusion. In my humble view, responsible leaders from both sides of political dive should seriously undertake the following responsibility with open acknowledgement as follows: 1) With in this seven days a round table political discussion must be called to find ways and means to take or divert or take away winds from opposition sails amicably and immediately to save the situation from being unexpectedly exploited by opportunists fro other unknown aims. 2) should the authority allow the procession to proceed as planned the opposition & ngos involved should undertake to guarantee that it will not turn into anarchy like what was happening during may 13th 1969. 3) that the army and the police together with the organizers of the meet should jointly provide enough personnel to safe guard the security and to ensure smooth and peaceful orderly procession takes place just treating it as a cultural nomination day election fiesta. 4) that along the proposed routes for the procession dewan bandar raya kuala lumpur should organised sunday market and issue temporary trading licences for interested parties so that the supporters and the by standers could at the same time enjoy and be thrilled by the crowds. This scene was common feature in the City of Rome in the early seventies especially at the Rome Via Veneto nerby the Central Railway station. The meeting was organised by the socialist and communists parties every Friday afternoon. No unwanted incident happened. 5) The police and the army guarding the route must be disciplined and the participating members must also be made to adhered to the same code of etiquette and rules as civilized citizen from a multiparty racial one malaaysia. 6) should the authority want to allow a different groups of government supporters to simultaneously have the same demonstration, their destinations and routes of procession should be in different areas so as not to allow possible clashes from taking place unnecessarily 7) Separating the approval on different routes for the same purposed processions could be used to assess the strength of political support that BN and the Pakatan can obtained. In this way justice and fairness is not only done but make it seen and done. 8) Alternatively the Government should accede and accept the opposition leader's promise not to proceed with the procession should the prime minister comply with the demand. These are some of the practical ways to help solve the current problems. Any other ways beneficial and good for the rakyaat and the country should be most welcome and every concerned citizen must contribute what ever ideas they can to help make this country a better place to stay. by dsj @ 1.13 2nd july, 201 kl.
