hysteriaDemocratic Hysteria causing unfounded fear & desperation of perceptive disturbances. Reply Datuk Salleh to ahmadebon show details 5:09 PM (10 minutes ago) Political hysteria is prowling within the intoxicated atmosphere of Malaysian democratic aerospace perceptively brought about by insular impact of yellow colored proposed Bersih march for democracy led by the international woman of courage on 9th July, 2011 dubbed as the second great movement of change in history of the country.Aim with a tacitly declared mission to clean up the country's flawed electoral system, the proposed march was prematurely deemed unlawful by declaring a non sensitive entity as illegal by the home ministry on the premise the movement will potentially bring anarchy. The calculation may be objectively from one angle, but the unfounded fear based on act of preconceived desperation is illogically untenable. This uncompromising decision has attracted my public comments, positive and negative criticisms from public.Relenting attitudes are candidly expressed by the Prime Minister following the decision by allowing a peaceful rally to be held in a selected stadium but the effects of selective arrests by the police have invariably reflects an internally conflicting policy taken by and between the opposing political arms of governments and the executive. The executive decision has in fact preempted the political decision by the chief executive of the country. Indeed this is very confusing.Disturbing trends are creating unfounded fear when parties allied to both proponents are threatening a possible tug of war. This unfortunate potentially disintegrating social event has unceremoniously dragged our royal interference into overseeing the entire episode as if current political solution must necessarily require such unplanned agenda. This approach reflects great lack confidence in the country's leadership and perhaps there exists an internally designed and highly whispered tactical move to create perceptual feeling of inhibition in the mind of the populace through out the country. The arbitrary arrests taken police even against those wearing a yellow colored t shirt found any where is counter productive and very much despised. For example one lady was arrested in Miri Airport because she wore yellow shirt. This is illogical and undemocratic. One of my firend told me yesterday that he was praying at Miri Mosque on last Friday in yellow baju melayu was also necessarily questioned by the young west malaysian special branch. This is abhorrence to say the least as if the country is governed under a police state. We hope our beloved Prime Minster is able to see to it that such incident must not be allowed unchecked.Sarawakian as all of us know are peace loving people and would do not be easily be hoodwinked by undesirable elements.Even during the Brunei Rebellion none of local Sarawakian was ( except for some kadayans who have family ties with Brunei) involved in spite of the fact then we are fighting the Colonial Regime. Those directly involved were the hard core communists. For public general information the Sarawak Chief Minister loves to wear yellow color. Will the authority stop him from using the same out fit? Some time he wore the yellow shirt inside? Perhaps it is his belief or his right or his color preference.Wearing a yellow T shirt even at this juncture is not a test of disloyalty or an act of anti establishment. We must not too obsessed with such a stupidly ridiculous idea in our effort to eradicate the current hysteria from attacking any one.A special medicine must be found so that this ailments would not spread fast and wide until or when the PR 13 are in sight.
